Regulation since 2012: exceeding the TÜV deadline

Since July 1, 2012, the sticker will no longer be backdated if the TÜV deadline is exceeded.

An overdraft will be punished with a fine if the validity period of the sticker has been exceeded by more than two months. Anyone who is involved in an accident with an expiring HU sticker must expect to be prosecuted accordingly by the insurance company.
